Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The role of a Senior Project Manager is to lead the execution of key strategic process improvement projects throughout the enterprise. They will also support PM leadership’s efforts to establish, implement, develop, control and communicate best practices for IT project intake, governance, management and reporting throughout the Division of IT.

Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Social Science, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
•7+ years experience in an IT project management/lead or related capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
•3+ years of supervisory experience.
•Experience in developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
•Demonstrated experience in project team management.


•Master’s degree or graduate certificate preferred
•PMP Certification
•Business analysis experience
•Business process experience

Physical Demands

Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
•Sitting for extended periods of time.
•Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.
•Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
•Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
