Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The researchers will work with Dr. Matthew Goupell (UMCP) and Dr. Ronna Hertzano (UMB), as well as other auditory neuroscience researchers at both institutions, including those in the Center for Comparative Evolutionary Biology of Hearing (CCEBH, Responsibilities may include perception testing, audiological/clinical testing, cochlear-implant programming at both UMB and UMCP, as well as administrative duties to perform joint research projects and help with grant writing. Background/experience in genetics or electrophysiology is not necessary, but would be a bonus

Minimum Qualifications:

A successful applicant should have a PhD, AuD, or other comparable doctoral degree. The doctoral degree should be in hearing science, communicative disorders, engineering, and/or other related fields. The researcher should be detail oriented and highly organized


Background/experience in genetics or electrophysiology is not necessary, but would be a bonus; Preference will be given to those who have a good mix of research, clinical, and administrative skills.
