Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Economics Department at the University of Maryland, College Park, invites applicants for non-tenure teaching positions beginning August 2018. This is a renewable position with a primary emphasis on teaching. Successful candidates will teach 3 classes per semester (6 per academic year) and perform other duties TBD supporting the undergraduate program. The position is eligible for benefits, and salary will depend on experience. Initial appointment will be for one academic year with renewal subject to review of candidate’s performance and budgetary resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications are PhD and 2 years teaching experience. Experience with large classes and active learning techniques preferred.
