Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Program Management Specialist will report to the Director of Administrative Services and assist in management of Business Office function to include budget actions, pcard processing, travel expenditure approvals, grant activities, payroll transfers, purchasing requisitions and other financial activities in Kuali Financial Systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree AND Two years experience in administrative staff work. Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.


Elementary knowledge of business office functions, including administrative and financial actions. Basic understanding of performing analysis, understanding of policies and procedures. Skill in use of office software and its application. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, present ideas and information clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.

Physical Demands

Work is performed in an office environment. Must be able to handle stress of setting priorities, meeting deadlines and handling large number of tasks simultaneously.
