Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

Performs responsible technical work overseeing and participating in the maintenance and repair of the golf course. Direction is provided by the Golf Course Superintendent. Supervision is exercised over subordinate personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management or related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience and a minimum of 2 years experience at a golf course with increasing responsibilities may be substituted in place of the Bachelor’s degree. Maryland State Pesticide and Fertilizer applicator’s licenses or ability to obtain them within 6 months

Physical Demands

Work requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and repetitive motion. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
