Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

This position will support faculty and post-doctoral fellows in the College of Education and reports to the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration. Responsibilities include: identifying funding opportunities for individual faculty and College centers; preparing materials and templates for proposals; monitoring relevant university, federal and state agency and local district deadlines, policies and procedures related to application submission. Assist Associate Dean for Research in developing faculty expertise in seeking funding; monitor college proposal activity and funding and prepare reports for the Dean and department chairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience related to research management and support, preferably in higher education

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Working knowledge of uniform guidance, electronic grant submissions, and general proposal development guidelines for various agencies
Working knowledge of various funding sources and searchable databases related to education and social and behavioral sciences
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and working in a deadline environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work individually with a variety of faculty
