Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

To assist in directing the Oral Communication program as Shady Grove

Minimum Qualifications:

Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.): Master’s Degree in Communication or related discipline

Experience: 5 years administrative experience, including significant experience working with undergraduates in a university setting. Experience in academic advising, marketing, program development, and working with a non-traditional student population is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ability to develop and implement programs, excellent oral and written communication skills, computer proficiency, ability to work independently, ability to work with high energy in regards to recruitment, promotion and consensus building and knowledge to prevent or resolve any potential problems.
