Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

This is a part-time position. Incumbent will be paid an hourly rate and work up to 25 hours per week.
The Baltimore campus has instructional and collaborative technology in 4 classrooms, 1 computer lab, a conference room, and multiple breakout rooms. The Baltimore requires technical staff that is responsible for IT/AV support. This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining IT/AV technology Baltimore campus.
Job duties include:
May include any and/or all of the following:
-Provide onsite technical support to the Faculty, Staff, and Students of the Baltmore campus to include all IT and AV (Audio Visual) systems.
-Proactively monitor technical aspects of classroom and computer lab activity, including wireless and LAN connectivity, and printing.
-Provide incident management for the Baltimore campus/populations which includes accurate and timely processing of incidents, problems, inquiries, change, and service requests.
-Work closely with supervisor and Masters Program Office to develop, document, and execute daily operating procedures. This includes quality control checklists, business continuity procedures, emergency escalation for critical reporting triggers and mechanisms.
-Coordinate technical requirements and provide technical support and setup of special events held at the Baltimore campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years of technical related experience are required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge and experience with AV technologies to include laptop/desktop/projection connectivity and interfacing, video conferencing, and teleconferencing.
-Ability to support, identify, and troubleshoot general problems with IT/AV hardware.
-Knowledge of Crestron, Win/Mac OS, web browsers, productivity applications, and Active Directory. A general understanding of networks, authentication, and application packaging and imaging.
-Must possess positive attitude, willingness to learn and pro-actively seek continuous quality improvement of services.
-Ability to navigate and engage multiple stakeholders to obtain optimal customer service results.
-Ability to work with deans, University and visiting faculty, students, and staff. Excellent communication skills are necessary.
