Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The senior graphic designer will be responsible for developing all print and digital materials for the college, while creating, managing and implementing visual standards and templates for all faculty and staff. This position will also help to develop a brand for the college and will train and assist faculty and staff to make sure the college maintains brand consistency and a coordinated visual approach across all projects.

The senior graphic designer will work directly with the director of communications to support all strategic initiatives related to public relations, social media, storytelling and faculty research, and optimizing appearance for a variety of outbound materials. This position will play an integral role as part of a dynamic, fast-paced communications office dedicated to advancing the college’s strategic initiatives and messages at a regional and national level and inspiring audience engagement, recruitment and involvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s degree is required. Emphasis in graphic or digital design is highly desired.
- 7+ years professional experience in graphic/digital design
- The ideal candidate must be able to juggle multiple projects from many faculty and staff members throughout the college. The director of communications will help determine which ones are appropriate to handle at the college level.
- Must be able to meet fast-moving deadlines and work independently.
- Ability to assess and respond to a variety of issues in a timely manner.


- Knowledge of or experience in agriculture
- Professional experience within an academic institution
