Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Accounting and Information Assurance Department at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park, MD, is seeking to fill a tenured/tenure track faculty position to begin August 2018.
While applications for all ranks will be considered, the priority is to hire either at the advanced assistant or associate professor level. The position will require teaching courses, conducting research and performing service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Assistant Professor Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. already in hand or firmly expected by August 2018 in Accounting or a relevant discipline, demonstrated ability to publish in top academic journals, and have a record of, or potential for, excellent teaching (preferably at the MBA level) and service.

Associate Professor Minimum Qualifications: In addition to the qualifications for assistant professor noted above, candidates must have an established record in publishing in top academic journals, including top accounting journals.

Full Professor Minimum Qualifications: In addition to the qualifications for associate professor noted above, candidates must have a record qualifying as a leader in the field, including recent publications in top accounting journals, and recent high-level editorial service.
