Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative instructor with a passion for undergraduate education and multidisciplinary education to join our Environmental Science and Policy (ENSP) team. ENSP is a unique undergraduate major co-sponsored by three Colleges; the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and the College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences. This is a 10-month, academic-year, annually-renewable appointment funded by the Environmental Science and Policy Program. Contract renewal will be based on an annual performance review by the Director of Environmental Science and Policy (ENSP).

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year of college-level teaching experience with demonstrated excellence in the classroom
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferences:

• PhD in environmental science, policy or a related field
• Knowledge of environmental modeling, data management, and quantitative assessments of environmental change and quality
• Experience in and commitment to interdisciplinary environmental science and policy education for undergraduates including an appreciation for the social sciences, natural sciences and humanities
