Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Dean’s Office at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park seeks to hire a part-time Non-Tenure Track Professional Faculty. The appointments will be at the level of lecturer. The starting date will be in August 2017 or sooner. Applicants are expected to develop and teach high quality courses on written and oral communications skills to specialty masters students.

Minimum Qualifications:

All applicants are expected to demonstrate excellent teaching skills in a relevant area of Communications. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in a related field with relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level. The person must be able to communicate effectively about data, including presentation of results from data analytics to lay audiences.

Preferences:

Prior teaching in a top ranked business school and experience in business communications is preferred.
