Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Mtech Web Development and IT Graduate Assistant’s duties will include:
• Assist the programming team with the development and maintenance of the web-based application, specifically using ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, C#, and SQL Server.
• Update existing sites with Responsive Design
• Document process (design documents / user documents).
• Provide application support
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrollment in a graduate program at the University of Maryland College Park is mandatory. Demonstrable familiarity with HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and database design. Familiarity with other programming languages such as PHP / MySQL


Preferred Skills: The successful GA will be able to demonstrate a combination of the following:

• High-level knowledge of web development
• Knowledge of and skill with data management tools using Microsoft office
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to take initiative and work independently;
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
