Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Division of Information Technology Learning Technology Strategy (LTS) seeks a creative and motivated individual to serve in all capacities of multimeida production. The successful candidate will use digital multimedia (video, audio, and design) production skills to produce instructional videos in support of instructors who wish to produce course-related media. This area of responsibility includes providing technical support of multimedia delivery tools for faculty and campus instructional support personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in a UMCP graduate program.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a program that required coursework and/or training in multimedia production (e.g.,film and electronic media with an emphasis production); or one year work experience in a field in which multimedia skills were demonstrated. Candidate must be enrolled in a UMCP graduate program.

Required Qualifications:

Skilled in video and audio production and post-production (e.g., camera operation, lighting, editing, etc).

Knowledge of a variety of media formats and requirements for saving and exporting.
Demonstrated experience with a non-linear editing system, Adobe Premiere.

Ability to take direction and make decisions in a fast pace, deadline driven environment.

Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Preferences:

Experience and skills in audio recording and post-production

Experience creating graphics and effects in Adobe After Effects

Experience creating virtual environments
